Volunteer with FLAG Flag Football

The FLAG Flag Football league is committed on and off the field – committed to the sport on the field, committed to the community off the field. We are giving back to the community that, through its strength and sheer determination, has truly inspired our participants to play with pride. Volunteer with FLAG Flag Football in 2017!

In 2017, we need your help to make this a year of REACH. We will focus to reach out and up in the community – reach out to foster new relationships in an effort to make a greater positive impact, and reach up to meet a goal of 210 volunteers participating in 1,500 hours of volunteer community service this year. Any questions or suggestions about volunteer opportunities may be directed to Billy Carr at billy@flagflagfootball.com. We hope to see you out on the field, around town, and volunteering in the community!

In 2016, 198 players and supporters participated in 1,407 hours of volunteer community service (an increase of over 17% from 2015). Last year, we supported some great organizations in the Boston community, such as the AVON 40 Breast Cancer Walk, BAGLY Youth Prom, Boston Living Center (monthly Monday night dinner service, Boston Pride preventative education packaging, Celebration of Life Thanksgiving Dinner), Community Servings (monthly Tuesday night meal preparation, LifeSavor, Pie in the Sky), GLAD (Annual Summer Party, Spirit of Justice), Harbor to the Bay, Youth Field Day, Massachusetts Youth Pride, PFLAG Pride and Passion, Special Olympics of Massachusetts Summer Games and Boston Jolly Jaunt, and Victory Programs (Dinnerfest RED Party and Auction, Drive for Victory Golf Tournament, Home for the Holidays).
